The 2026 Symposium brings together firefighters, officers, chiefs, instructors, students, and industry partners from across Canada and the United States for one of Canada's premier fire service training events. Attendees can choose from a wide range of hands-on training (HOT), engaging classroom sessions, leadership and wellness programming, and inspiring keynote presentations delivered by respected fire service professionals.
The experience extends well beyond the classroom.
Thursday evening kicks off the Symposium with FSWO Connect: Trade Show, Speaker's Corner & Networking Night. Meet industry partners, explore the latest products and services, hear from featured speakers, and connect with fire service professionals from across the country in a relaxed networking environment.
Friday morning begins with the FSWO Awards Gala Breakfast, where we celebrate outstanding achievements, recognize the contributions of members, volunteers, and industry partners, and officially welcome everyone to the Symposium.
Friday afternoon features a full lineup of hands-on training and classroom sessions, followed by FSWO Unplugged: Social & Networking Event in the evening—a fun and relaxed opportunity to unwind, reconnect with colleagues, make new connections, and continue building relationships across the fire service.
Saturday offers a full day of hands-on training and classroom education, giving participants even more opportunities to develop their skills, expand their knowledge, and learn from some of the fire service's most respected instructors.
