The Fire Service Women Ontario Annual General Meeting and election will be held virtually on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 7 pm.
With Ontario Fire Academy, FSWO is excited to offer two $10,000 scholarships to the 12-week Full-Time Firefighter Training Program, with two start dates of April 2026 and July 2026 (one student per semester).

Fire Service Women Ontario (FSWO) is proud to launch the Sheila Finlay Shooting Star Scholarship – Igniting Excellence in the Fire Service. This scholarship, generously donated by Sheila Finlay, offers four full registration awards to the 2025 FSWO Symposium in Oakville, Ontario.
Inspired by Sheila’s tradition of gifting stars to first responders, this award celebrates resilience, gratitude, and the shining potential of fire service professionals across all roles and divisions. 🌟
