Host A Symposium

World-class fire training and the best ideas in fire service diversity and inclusion – this is what FSWO members have come to expect from our popular annual symposium. Consider hosting our symposium and reap the benefits of networking with FSWO visionaries, instructors, speakers and members from across Ontario and beyond.

Fire Service Women Ontario is always looking for future hosts for the FSWO Annual Training Symposium. The training symposium will bring between 100-200 fire service members to your facility or department for both in-class and hands-on training sessions. This is a great opportunity to highlight what your organization has to offer. FSWO will work with your organization to offer the best-quality fire service training, using both your instructors and bringing in the specialty speakers and instructors that FSWO regularly works with. The event is traditionally held on a Friday and Saturday in October or early November. Social events during the symposium can be held at your facility, the host hotel or even at local establishments. Please send your completed application or an email if you require more information to symposium@fswo.ca.
