Individual memberships range from $45-$60 per year, across Active Member (Career), Active Member (Volunteer), National/International Memberships, Fire Service Retiree Memberships, Student Memberships and Ambassador Memberships.

| Student | For members who are currently enrolled in a post-secondary school fire related program or have graduated within the past 3 years from a similar program. Do not have voting rights. | $45/year |
| Fire Service Retiree | For members who are now retired from a career in the fire service. Have full voting rights | $45/year |
| National/International | For those individuals who want to be members and reside outside Ontario. Have full voting rights. | $55/year |
| Ambassador Membership | For members who are interested in the fire service and supportive of the mandate and mission of FSWO. This can include sponsors who provide both in kind and financial contributions as well as other individuals who are avid supporters of FSWO. Do not have voting rights. | $50/year |

The Fire Service Retiree membership is for those members who have now retireed from a career in the fire service, either volunteer/paid on call or career, and want to continue to support the mandate of FSWO.
This membership is open to individials who reside outside of Ontario.
For those who are interested in the fire service and supportive of the mandate and mission of FSWO.
This can include sponsors who provide both in kind and financial contributions as well as other individuals who are avid supporters of FSWO.
They do not get a vote at the AGM.
