We are honoured to have the discussion moderated by Susan Bonner, host of CBC’s The World at Six, who will guide an engaging and impactful conversation.
As part of the event, attendees will also view the short film From the Ashes. Created in association with Fire Service Women Ontario (FSWO) and produced by LOFT (Hamilton Ladies of Film and Television), the film weaves together candid interviews and immersive footage to highlight the grit, resilience, and camaraderie of female firefighters — challenging outdated perceptions and sparking vital conversations across the fire service.
