By-law #1 of the Constitution of Fire Service Women Ontario states that you must be an Active Member in good standing (your membership paid in full) to be able to vote on Board matters at the AGM. We remind you to submit your application and fees for membership as soon
as possible to ensure your application can be processed and approved in time so you can vote at the AGM.
Membership information, fees and registration can be accessed at fswo.ca. Members who cannot be present at the meeting can send their vote by proxy. Members who wish to vote by proxy are asked to send an email to registrar@fswo.ca with the name of their proxy no later than Tuesday February 13th, 2024 at 7:00pm.
FSWO will be holding an election for a number of FSWO Board of Officer and Director positions at the AGM on Thursday, February 15, 2024. The following positions are up for election this year:
President
Vice President
Secretary
Director: 5 positions available
Student Director
The officers and directors will serve for a term of two years with the exception of the Student Director position who shall serve for a one-year term. To nominate yourself or someone else, please complete the Nomination form and submit it no later than Thursday, January 18th, 2024, 7:00pm.
