FSWO expands our membership categories to better reflect our community and our goals.
Greetings to our members and supporters,
FSWO is happy to announce that we have redesigned our membership categories to better reflect our diverse membership. As a member-driven organization, our members are the foundation of everything we do. As FSWO grows within Ontario, Canada and the world, we want FSWO to be an organization where all fire service members and supporters who support our mandate and vision are welcome.
The changes to our membership categories and fees described below are rooted in our commitment to
1) Better represent the concerns of the FSWO membership 2) Deepen FSWO’s relationship with its members 3) Better fund FSWO in accordance with the services we provide
What's New
A new individual membership category for fire service retirees that is low-cost and affordable
A new group membership category for pre-service fire programs with membership open to all students and staff in their program
A new individual membership category of National/International category for those who live outside of Ontario
The former Associates category has been revised to reflect Donors who wish to make an annual donation to FSWO
The group membership category of Departmental/Association membership
is now based on level of commitment and support that the members wish to
provide (previously these memberships were based on population served)
All FSWO membership benefits will remain the same. Membership benefits include:
Discounted pricing and preferential registration for symposium and other seminars/training/events (including NFPA courses)
Discounted pricing on FSWO swag
Access to our mentoring program
Subscription to FSWO Newsletter
