To provide a detailed review of the Ontario Fire Code and NFPA 96 specifically dealing with kitchen suppression systems. You will be able to complete a site inspection and ensure that the technical requirements in NFPA 96 are being followed correctly. You will have the opportunity to complete a site inspection and provide group discussion on the outcome from the inspection.
Gary Laframboise has over 25 years of experience in the fire protection field and is currently the Chief Fire Prevention Officer with the Oakville Fire Department. Prior to joining the Oakville Fire Department in 1996 he was a Certified Fire Alarm Technician with a fire protection company and was involved with fire alarm, sprinkler and special extinguishing systems. He is a graduate of the Fire Protection Engineering Technology program from Seneca College. He is also an Associate Instructor with the Ontario Fire College.
