Effective Radio Communications. Sounds simple and easily accomplished but the fundamentals of those three words are often left to the user to" learn as they go". In this session you will gain skills and practical training resources to enhance the use of fire ground communications. By combining suppression and dispatch perspectives on the essentials of competent transmissions, participants will achieve renewed proficiency in getting your messages understood. Additionally, the incident command system and its application to emergency call taking will also be examined as a technique for improving the ability to relay and prioritize critical information for responding officers.
