Amber Bowman is all about breaking barriers and achieving what she sets her mind to. Amber became an Acting Captain for Central York Fire earlier this year. A Division One Captain for the Ohio State Buckeyes Women’s Hockey Team, Retired CWHL - Toronto Furies professional hockey player, her achievements on the ice are just the beginning. In 2011 Amber took on the world of FireFighter Combat Challenges and was the first rookie to ever be victorious on the world stage. Now a 25x World Champion, Amber was the first female to break the 2-minute barrier, and is the first-ever competitor in combat history to medal Eight years in a row! Recently Amber became the chosen trainer for the Dr. OZ show as she won the “Trainer of the Year” contest. As impressive as her individual accomplishments are, Amber’s dream is to empower others to live their lives to the fullest, believe in themselves, and go after their dreams!
