This course will review the basics of auto extriucation of a vehicle on all 4 wheels. Course content will include the golden hour and ten life cycles of auto extrication. Participants will get hands on tool time and will work on skills like, glass management, purchase points, door removal, roof removal and dash displacement.
PPE Requirements
Completion of NFPA 1001 - Firefighter I and II or equivalent experience
Bunker gear - Coat, pants, gloves, helmet, boots or a approved coverall suit and rescue gloves.
Safety glasses and ear protection.
