With over 28 years with Brampton Fire & Emergency Services, Chantelle Cosgrove has built a notable career in the fire service. Chantelle has tirelessly dedicated her career to the fire prevention world. In 1998, she began her career as a Fire Prevention Officer then in 2021 advanced to management where she was promoted to Division Chief, Fire Prevention. In 2024, she was promoted to Deputy Fire Chief, Community Risk Reduction.

Beyond her operational leadership, Chantelle has contributed extensively to the academic side of fire safety. For over 23 years, she has shaped the next generation of fire protection professionals as an instructor in the Fire Protection Technology Program at Seneca College.

Additionally, Chantelle served with distinction on the Ontario Municipal Fire Prevention Officers Association for 10 years, including a four-year term as President, where she played a key role in advancing fire prevention practices across the province.

A lifelong Brampton resident, Chantelle has spent her entire career serving and protecting the community she grew up in. Her commitment to fire safety, public education, and community risk reduction continues to make her an influential and respected leader in the fire prevention field.
