Facilitated by Firefighter Rescues Ontario Instructor Team

In the high-stakes environment of structural firefighting, anecdotal evidence is no longer enough. This session delivers an exclusive, data-driven deep dive into civilian rescue trends captured across Ontario. By analyzing real-world outcomes we bridge the gap between raw statistics and frontline tactics. We aren't just presenting numbers; we are providing Data for Life. Attendees will identify the critical patterns that define success, providing the empirical foundation necessary to refine search priorities and ultimately improve civilian survivability throughout the province.

Our Mission: Data-Driven Survival

Firefighter Rescues Ontario is a volunteer research and educational collective dedicated to understanding the ground truth of structure fires in our province.

As a frontline-led group of Firefighters, Chief Officers and allied industry professionals we are united by a single goal: to analyze every civilian rescue and fatality in Ontario to improve fireground outcomes.

What We Do

We believe that every tactic, policy and skill should be rooted in reality. By synthesizing our independent research with data from allied sources, we provide:

Evidence-Based Frameworks: Providing every firefighter with the facts they need to make split-second decisions.

Tactical Analysis: Moving beyond anecdotes to understand how suppression and search operations impact survival.

Strategic Advocacy: Using provincial data to highlight the critical need for effective fireground staffing, training and education.

We don't just track numbers; we honor the data by using it to protect the citizens of Ontario and the firefighters who serve them.
