Highrise Fire Fighting -- HOT

This high-rise class will build off of Brent Brooks class from last year. The course will focus on the hose deployment, improvised hose deployment, open well stretch, closed well and making the stretch in the hallway. Setting the gate gauge and flowing water with the 65mm line. It will also cover Plan A,B,C,D in supplying water in a high rise setting. This course will cover multiple different hose bundles and some of the advantages and disadvantages. We will help crush the negative coffee table chat about high rise fire fighting.

PPE Required : Full bunker gear - Steel toe boots - Helmet - Gloves

Phil Montgomey, Captain with Central York Fire Services. Comes with twenty three years of experience working in a suburban fire department. Phil is energetic about teaching high rise and mid rise fire fighting. He strives to be a motivational role model, and has dedicated countless hours teaching technical rescue skill and high rise fire fighting. He has learned from some of North Americas best. Phil is passionate about building confident firefighters who are enthusiastic, determined and hard working.
