Topics include responder safety, animal behavior, trailer and highway-related livestock incidents, scene management, and an overview of humane euthanasia considerations. Attendees will gain practical knowledge to improve confidence, situational awareness, and decision-making when responding to large animal emergencies. This course is ideal for firefighters with little to no prior experience in livestock or large animal rescue situations.
