This course gives the municipal/volutneer firefighter the basic knowledge and skills on how to deal with Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting should they be called to assist with a major aircraft emergency. Content includes, respons eprocedures, hazards, positioning of appartaus, fire control and rescue opertations.

PPE Requirements

Completion of NFPA 1001 - Firefighter I and II or equivalent experience
Full bunker gear - Coat, pants, gloves, helmet, boots, hood.
Safety glasses and ear protection.

Mark has over 15 years as a professional firefighter. During this time, he has had the opportunity to hold positions of Firefighter, Fire Captain, and Airport Fire Chief. The opportunity to join the FESTI Team and share his experiences with airport emergency response personnel has been memorable and rewarding for him.
