This course will revisit the foundations of ventilating a roof using a power saw and an axe. Using a pitched roof prop, particpants will work through the process of a sounding and walking on the roof, using roof ladders, and cutting the hole.
PPE Requirements
Completion of NFPA 1001 - Firefighter I and II or equivalent experience
Full bunker gear - Coat, pants, gloves, helmet, boots, hood.
Safety glasses and ear protection.
