Ability Dogs Canada will deliver a sharp, engaging presentation on how Intervention K9s support firefighters at risk of PTSD—featuring their standout partner, Intervention K9 Scotia. This presentation covers signs and symptoms, when to seek help, how to recognize when a colleague may be struggling, the role of a service dog in PTSD support, and the powerful ways these dogs provide grounding and stability. It’s an informative, vital message designed to build resilience and spark open conversations about a tough subject, all delivered with professionalism and just enough wit to keep the room—and Scotia’s tail—moving.
